What are the determining factors for which nonprofits receive a facility?

To partner with Mon-Ark Estates Charity to receive a rescue facility, the organization must be offering rescue and/or rehabilitation services for people rescued out of human trafficking. This includes people of any age or gender who have been a victim of sex trafficking, slavery, drug muling, or organ harvesting.

For rescues within the United States of America or its territories, the rescue organization must be an established 501(c)(3) or 508(c)(1(A), per the Internal Revenue Service code. More information regarding IRS requirements and definitions of nonprofits can be found on their website: IRS.gov.

Can I see the properties Mon-Ark Estates is raising funds for?

The short answer is No. While fundraising for a new property an artist's rendering of the finished property, the general city location, and services that property will provide rescues are provided in our Donation area on our Homepage of this website.

Exact addresses for potential and established property locations are not made available to the general public. This is to help maintain the security of each facility, its rescues, the rescue care providers, and the rescuers out in the field.

How big are the rescue facilities?

The size of each facility is based on the needs submitted by the organization using the facility and the location of the property.

What are the sequence of events that occur once the fundraising goal has been reached for each facility?

Once the fundraising goal has been met to obtain a facility, and the property has been purchased, the property is put through a renovation process. Each rescue organization has needs that are taken into consideration. This can include indoor spaces for offices, classrooms, childcare areas, medical stations, and outdoor spaces for gardening, etc.

Can I volunteer with facility renovations?

At this time Mon-Ark Estates contracts with construction companies to provide all facility renovations.

Do you provide anything in addition to the facility?

Mon-Ark Estates Charity provides only the physical facility to human trafficking rescue organizations. The organization provides all services for the rescues.

Will there be multilingual facilities?

Facilities are staffed by the rescue organizations and languages are determined by those organizations.
